Responsibilities

SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineering Lead to work on the LANDMARK AOS program. This position provides requirements management support to manage end-to-end closure for the Government in the Enterprise Data and Platforms Ground program Office. The position will be located in Chantilly, VA. All candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

 

  • Lead, manage, coach, train and motivate the team conducting the entire array of Systems Engineering disciplines (Schedules, Configuration Management, Requirements, Risk etc.,) across a myriad of cloud-based software development activities.
  • Development detailed Systems Engineering products to include integration, verification, validation and test processes, requirements tracing, short term and long term schedules and roadmaps.
  • Develop MBSE plans and procedure and the application to current and future programs
  • Frequent interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, and external stakeholders
  • Manage requirements for programs and projects
  • Derive system level requirements and work with the team to develop the corresponding documentation
  • Developing Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) for new capabilities and coordinating them across the affected organizations
  • Developing enterprise, system, functional, performance, and interface requirements
  • Scope and link requirements for proper system definition.
  • Write systems engineering documents; follow and update templates for documents

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor degree in business, engineering, science, or related discipline and 10 years total experience (or a MS degree + 7 years)
  • 5+ years of experience directly supporting a System Engineering organization and a demonstrated understanding of Systems Engineering and Acquisition processes.
  • Expertise and experience with the IC acquisition cycle, requirements processes, budgetary practices, and acquisition documentation
  • Strong oral and written communications to support interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, external stakeholders, and development contractors at all levels on significant technical matters often require coordination between all organizations within a high-tempo environment
