Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated system engineer. The expected and desired qualifications are the following:

 

Expected

 

  • Bachelors in Tech, computer science, engineering, physics, or related field; if no Bachelors - demonstrate an additional 4 yrs of related systems engineering experience for each level
    domain knowledge and expertise for systems engineering of interrelated systems acquisitions, > $50M

  • Strong Systems Engineering discipline with traditional functions such as: risk, requirements, configuration, or schedule management, or testing experience

  • Experience working space and ground programs from architecture-definition documentation (ADD/CONOPS) through requirements derivation and allocation, performance metric generation and assessment, test case development, and requirement closure tracing
  •  
  • systems engineering of interrelated systems acquisitions

  • Specifically: cloud services, software services platform, DevSecOps, data centricity and management, data management, MBSE, enterprise governance, across organizational and system boundaries

  • Engage with the national and tactical communities to collaboratively design, document, validate, and deliver architectures, systems and innovative ground capabilities in support of the national space architecture

  • Research, gather and write formal requirements, translate those requirements into user stories and statements of work

  • Provide schedule, requirements, configuration, and risk management support; and validation, verification, and test support

  • Support Agile-based program management and implementation of a model-Base Systems Engineering approach

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

Must hold TS/SCI W/ CI Poly Clearance 

 

Desired

 

  • Master's or PhD in Tech, computer science, engineering, physics or related field

  • Professional cert in Systems Engineering (such as DAWIA, INCOSE, MBSE such as OCSMP SysML Model Builder Intermediate), Agile, PMP

  • domain knowledge and expertise for systems engineering of multiple interrelated satellite ground system acquisitions

  • IC experience w/in the last 5 yrs

  • Experience with RDNG/DOORs requirements database management/repository, Rhapsody, SysML applications, Confluence, Jira, or JSMART

  • Understand how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle)
  • systems engineering of multiple interrelated satellite ground system acquisitions
    Specifically: digital engineering and data engineering
