Duties are as follows:
Design and develop user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications.
Create visually appealing graphics, icons, and other design elements to support various projects.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with project requirements and user needs.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts and functionality.
Ensure designs are consistent with branding guidelines and industry best practices.
Stay current with trends, technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design and graphic design.
Provide feedback and guidance to other team members on design-related matters.
Maintain and update design documentation, including style guides and design specifications.
Assist with other design-related tasks and special projects as needed.
Expected Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, User Experience Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, demonstrate an additional 4 years of related acquisition experience per level if no bachelor's degree is held.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
Experience as a UX/UI designer or graphic designer, preferably in a technical or defense-related environment.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ability to work closely with developers.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
Experience in designing for government or defense-related projects.
