Responsibilities

The logistician will perform the following duties:

 

Develop and execute detailed plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.


Provide comprehensive logistical support, including transportation, supply chain management, inventory control, and resource management.


Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless and efficient use of resources.


Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to support deployment operations.


Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of activities, including logs, reports, and records.


Identify and resolve logistical challenges and issues that may arise.


Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency.


Provide training and support to personnel to ensure readiness and effectiveness.


Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.


Assess and mitigate risks associated, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and resources.

 

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

Expected Qualifiations


Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, demonstrate an additional 4 years of related experience per level if no bachelor's degree is held.


Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph


Experience working in a warehouse operations or deployment coordinator role.

 

Desired Qualifications


Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on deployment operations.


Strong project management skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities, and proficiency in logistics software and tools.


Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are preferred.


Willingness to travel and support deployment operations in various locations, both domestic and international.
