This role involves working closely with educators, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to create interactive and visually appealing learning resources tailored to various audiences. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of multimedia tools to enhance the learning experience.The Multi-Media developer will perform the following duties:
Design and produce interactive multimedia elements, including videos, animations, simulations, and interactive exercises.
Develop graphics, infographics, and other visual assets to support educational content.
Implement responsive and accessible designs that align with educational best practices.
Collaborate with instructional designers and educators to understand learning objectives and translate them into multimedia content.
Edit and refine multimedia components to meet high-quality standards.
Incorporate multimedia elements into Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other e-learning platforms.
Test and troubleshoot multimedia content across devices and platforms to ensure functionality.
Stay updated on emerging multimedia technologies and trends in educational technology.
Recommend innovative approaches and tools to improve the quality and engagement of educational materials.
Expected Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field. Alternatively, demonstrate an additional 4 years of related experience per level if no bachelor's degree is held.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph
Proficiency in multimedia development tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate, and Articulate Storyline).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desired Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Multimedia Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Familiarity with the NRO’s learning platforms
Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities and to work flexible schedules as necessary
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Experience in developing learning solutions for Intelligence Community agencies
Experience on a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers in a client-focused consulting environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent graphic design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
